Summer City Guide: 72 hours in Sts Constantine and Helena, part 2
More stops for your next seaside escape

After exploring Sts Constantine and Helena in part one, we’re adding more places
to the summer plan. The area offers too much for a single story, so this second route takes in beach bars, lunch stops and wilder corners of the northern coast. More views, more pauses for food and a few detours from the familiar path: another way to spend 72 hours by the sea.
The day’s first cocktail: Cactus Beach Bar & Bites

If your day begins with the sea, Cactus Beach Bar & Bites is a good first stop. Right on the beach, it brings together the summer essentials:
sand underfoot, a cold cocktail, a comfortable lounger
and music that suits long hours by the water. Start slowly with coffee and something fresh to eat, or meet friends for an afternoon drink. As sunset approaches, Cactus changes pace and offers a reason to spend a few more hours by the sea.
Lunch with a sea view: MORE Beach Restaurant

At MORE Beach Restaurant, it’s easy to lose track of time. A table a few steps from the sea, something good to eat, and “a quick lunch” becomes a couple of quiet hours on the shore. That absence of hurry is what we like. The menu, view and atmosphere can carry you from lunch into an afternoon drink. A good choice for days when the best plan is to have fewer plans.
Dinner with an eye for detail: Kampai

For an evening when you want something different, we’d choose Kampai. It’s long been among the addresses showing that the coast has room for bolder cooking.
The interior is modern and stylish, but the focus stays on the kitchen:
carefully chosen ingredients, interesting combinations and dishes that reward attention. A place for a long dinner, conversation and wine when you want to end the day with something special.
A beautiful bay: Bolata

Bolata Beach is a detour worth giving time to. Between red cliffs near Cape Kaliakra, the little bay looks different from much of the familiar Black Sea coast. Stay by the water or follow the short path towards the cliffs for a striking view. It’s somewhere that encourages a slower pace and a little longer with the landscape.
The wilder coast: Tyulenovo

Tyulenovo suits people who like the sea without much decoration. There’s no broad sandy beach or conventional resort setting,
just rocks, underwater caves, open sea and a coastline
shaped by nature. Walk along it, take photographs or sit for a few minutes watching the waves. The more adventurous seek out its cliff-jumping and diving spots; for everyone else, the reward is simply being in one of the northern coast’s wilder corners.
