New in Sofia: Slice Pizza
Size always matters.

In a city that speaks more languages by the day, sometimes you want to hear a familiar accent.
Something local, with a voice of its own. At Slice, the pizza comes with Bulgarian ingredients and plenty of confidence. There’s classic pepperoni, and Shpekeroni, its Bulgarian cousin made with shpek salami. Marinara becomes Mara. The names sound like neighbourhood characters who know exactly where they’re from. The dough proves for 72 hours, slowly and patiently. There are five aperitif cocktails to choose from, and the Bloody Mary borrows the pizza sauce. We like a place where the glass and the plate have something to say to each other.
